Volunteers Opportunities

Volunteer Reception/Administration Support

You would be supporting the organisation by providing general office support, such as typing, filing, answering the telephone, meeting and greeting visitors, ordering stationery etc.

As a volunteer you will need to be reliable, non-judgemental, have strong organisational skills, an appreciation of a busy office environment, a sense of humour, and a professional manner. You will also have experience in using Microsoft Office, previous reception and telephone skills would be an advantage.

Fundraisers

We are always looking for motivated individuals who can help raise the profile of The Relationships Centre and it's sister project 'Talk...Don't Walk' and help to raise funds to continue our work.

As a volunteer, you will have an interest in fundraising with a possible background in marketing or event management, strong organisational skills, an appreciation of a busy office environment, a sense of humour, and a professional manner.

Trustees

The Relationships Centre is a continuously growing organisation and we are looking for trustees from a professional background to support the organisation during our expansion.

As a volunteer you will need to be non-judgemental, trustworthy, flexible, committed and honest.  You will have an appreciation of the voluntary sector and experience within a business environment would be an advantage although no particular skills are required.

Volunteer Co-ordinator

We are looking for a reliable, friendly volunteer to co-ordinate our small team of volunteers in Warrington; to help organise, run and develop the team, development of policy and procedure, supervision and identifying training needs.

You will need to be reliable, have strong organisational skills, the ability to use Microsoft Office and work with a small team.  Previous experience of managing volunteers would be an advantage.

Volunteer Trainee Counsellor Placement and Qualified Counsellors

We are looking for part qualified and qualified counsellors to work with clients who are facing relationship difficulties. The main focus areas are violence, abuse, relationships, mental health issues also self-esteem and confidence.

As a volunteer you will be non-judgemental, reliable, trustworthy, committed, hardworking and methodical.  You will also have good organisational skills, appreciation of a busy office environment, a sense of humour, and a professional manner. Trainee Counsellors must ideally be in their 2nd year of diploma. Qualified Counsellors would ideally be 2 years post qualification, but all enquiries are welcome.
